Multi Function Events Venue

Following on from TD Jagger's involvement with the highly successful Drewton's Farm Shop and Tea Rooms, a former project finalist in the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Design Awards, we were again appointed by our client to further enhance their existing farm shop estate.

Our brief was to provide a new build multi functional events venue suitable for hosting weddings, corporate and private party events.

With due consideration to the existing surroundings, the new building was sympathetically designed to reflect a visual aesthetic of an agricultural farm building, albeit with a more modern and visually appealing twist more appropriate for the intended end use.

The new building is linked to the existing farm shop via a glazed corridor which creates a welcoming main reception area.

Reclaimed brickwork and natural timber cladding were used extensively on the elevations, whilst a Kingspan sinusoidal roof in a slate grey colour provided the visual appearance of a profiled cement roof, typical on many agricultural type buildings, whilst also meeting the thermal performance criteria of current building regulations.

The Manor Room - provides space for up to 150 seated guests or 225 on less formal occasions.

The Library - a mezzanine gallery floor above the main function area provides an additional hospitality area for up to 80 guests.

The Garden Room - ancillary to the main function room, this multi purpose area can provide an extension to the bar, a reception area or private dining facilities.

TD Jagger addressed all aspects of this project from inception to completion, including obtaining planning consent, detailed design and project management of the work on site.

The completed project has been successful in ensuring that the Drewton's Estate is firmly established as a desirable events venue, in addition to their already popular farm shop and cafe facilities.
