New 5,574m² / 60,000 ft² Manufacturing Facility

Texfelt are a subsidiary of James Robinson Fibres Ltd and forms part of JR Group UK, the UK's leading Independent manufacturer, stockholder and supplier of non-woven products who primarily manufacture products for the flooring, furniture and bedding industries, and are one of the oldest textile companies still in existence in the United Kingdom.

Due to their continued success and limited site constraints cutailing expansion possibilities at their existing facility in Bradford, TD Jagger Limited were appointed to design and project manage a new build 5,574m² / 60,000ft² manufacturing plant at a new site on Cutler Heights Lane in Bradford.

The work on site entailed demolition of an existing three storey office building and construction of a new manufacturing/storage building constructed using a combination of brickwork, vertical, horizontal and flat cladding panels, all in a colour palette sympathetic to the J.R. Fibres corporate branding to create a modern facility appropriate for their current and future expansion plans.



TD Jagger's scope of work included the preparation of initial feasibility concepts, securing full planning consent, detailed architectural design and contract administration of the construction work on site.


The portal framed building has an eaves height of 7.0m and was purpose built to house new machinery and modern technology which has been six years in development to provide state of the art Kytech non-woven plant.
